Specialists of “Tatoilgas” (Russia, Middle Volga region), a joint venture of “Tatneft” (Russia) and “Mineralol-Rostoff-Handel GmbH” (Germany) elaborated a new waste free and ecologically friendly technology for processing solid oil sludge with the use of a special sorbent. A plant designed by the joint venture is capable of processing up to 3 tons of oil sludge per hour.
