“SUAL” (Russia) starts mastering of the bauxite reserves in East Siberia. A modern alumina complex of 1, 4 million tons of alumina and 300-500 thousand tons of primary aluminium annual capacity will be constructed at the field. The total cost of the project is USD321 million. Around USD75 million will be granted as credit by the syndicate of Western banks with “EBRD” and “IFC” in participation.
