“YUKOS” holding intends to build in Nefteyugansk (North of West Siberia) by 2007 their own enterprise for processing associated gas to propane and butane. Up to now the company has been burning in flames half of the associated gas produced – 2, 3 billion cubic meters annually. The designed capacity of the new gas processing plant amounts to about 1, 8 billion cubic meters of the associated gas per year. “YUKOS” has already been taking applications for participation in the bids for plant designing. According to preliminary estimations plant construction will cost around USD50 million.
