According to “IDC” (Russia) consultants the growth rate of mobile telephone market in Russia is 4 times higher than that of the world in general. In the first quarter of 2004 about 5 million mobile telephones were sold in Russia. By the volume of sales “Motorola” (USA) holds the first place, while “Nokia” (Finland) and “Samsung” (Korea) are sharing the second.
