“OMIA GmbH” (Austria) started construction of a plant in Elabuga (Middle Volga region) for the production of fine grain filler from natural calcium carbonate, used in the production of white pigment coated paper, white paint and plastics. Designed capacity of the plant is 500 thousand tons of products per year. The plant should be commissioned in 2005.
