| “Scientific Center”(Russia) and “Giesecke & Devrient GmbH”(Germany) signed an agreement on joint production of smart cards in Zelenograd (a town near Moscow). Cost of the project is Euro20 million. At the first stage the JV will make sim-cards for cellular network subscribers. At the second stage production of smart cards for bank payment systems should be mastered. |
