| “Gasprom” (Russia) approved the short-list of five foreign companies claiming participation in the consortium for development of the Shtockman natural gas reserves. Among the five companies on the list are “Chevron” (USA), “ConocoPhillips”(USA), “Hydro”(Norway), “Statoil”(Norway) and “Total”(France), out of them only two will be selected holding together 49% in the project capital. Investments in the first stage of the reserves development are estimated to be USD 10-13 billion. |
