According to the estimations made by “Sojuzupak” (Russia) experts, total size of Russian packaging market amounts to about USD 8 billion per year. In packaging materials per capita consumption in Russia is about 4-5 times lower than in the Western countries. Hereupon, Russian market of packaging materials grows twice faster than the world market. Especially extensive is carton tare consumption growth –15-20% annually. According to forecasts the Russian packaging materials market will not be saturated before 4-5 years from now.
