| According to Mr. Malahov, Governor of Sakhalin region, electrical station of 1100MW capacity, a plant for chemical processing of lignite of 1 mln. tons annual capacity and a plant for aluminum production of 375 thousand tons annual capacity will be built on the basis of “Solntsevskoye” reserves with lignite stock of 250 mln. tons. The total cost of the project is about USD 6 billion. |
