| According to President of Russia statement, domestic system of satellite navigation “GLONASS” will be in full swing in 2007. By the end of 2007 18 space apparatus will provide for the operation of the system in the national regime. Functioning of the system at the global scale will start in 2009, when 24 satellites will be launched to the orbit. “GLONASS” will be compatible in operation with the “Galileo” European system of satellite navigation. |
