“Sitronics” (Russia) plans the production of chips having topology of 65-45 nm in the city of Zelenograd near Moscow. The project cost is over USD1 billion. About one half of the investment will be provided by the State Investment Fund. There are only seven companies in the world, which can supply the technology of nanochip production, namely, American “IBM”, “Intel”, “AMD” and “Texas Instruments”, “Samsung” (Korea), “TSMC” (Taiwan) and “ST Microelectronics” (France).
