Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronical Engineering and the Russian Academy of Government Service under the President of the Russian Federation, also - from Central Institute of Intellectual Property (Moscow).
Started his career in the Russian PTO as an examiner, researcher, Deputy Chief of Legal Department, Deputy Chief of Department for International Cooperation, Deputy General Director of the Russian PTO.
Held a position of deputy plenipotentiary representative of the Russian Federation at Interstate Council of CIS countries on IP Protection.
Completed training courses at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy (Geneva, Switzerland), International Training Center of Industrial Property at R. Schumann University (Strasbourg, France), International Intellectual Property Training Institute (Tedjon, Korea).
Contributed to the development of Russian legislative and regulatory acts in IP area, drafting international agreements in the field of patent harmonization under WIPO.
Participated in intergovernmental negotiations, including those on Russia joining WTO.
Member of AIPPI.
Has a number of publications, is frequent speaker at conferences on various issues relating to IP rights and enforcement, coauthored Official comments to the Russian Patent Law.
Joined "Gorodissky & Partners" in 2004.
Advises clients on the Russian intellectual property legislation, gives expert judgment on the legal documents.
Member of Legal Commission of the Russian PTO.
