In 1982 Mr. Egorov graduated form the Urals Polytechnic institute with a degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career at the Urals Compressor Factory. Starting in 1988 he worked in the Ekaterinburg City Administration and then in the Government of Sverdlovsk oblast.
In 1994 Mr. Egorov attended a program at the Business School of New York University.
In 1995 he graduated from the Urals Academy of State Employees with a specialty in economics and management.
Since June 2001 Mr. Egorov has been the Director of the Ekaterinburg branch of "Gorodissky & Partners".
