ANDREY NIKOLAYENKO
Chief of Trademark and Design Department

Graduated from the V.Get’man Kiev National Economic University in 2008, master of law. In 2009 graduated (cum laude) from the Kiev branch of the Institute of intellectual property of the Odessa Law Academy, master of intellectual property.
In 2008 was trained under the Jury Trial Education Initiative program (The Leavitt Institute for International Development). Got WIPO distant education on IP basic issues in 2008.
Started his carrier at the Ukrainian PTO, then as a legal adviser and coordinator of IP practice in major international law firms “Magisters” and “Astapov Lawyers”.
In March 2011 joined “Gorodissky & Partners” (Kiev).
Andrey counsels clients on obtaining IP rights, protection and assignment of IP rights including copyrights and neighboring rights, patents, trade marks, company names, domain names etc. and litigates IP case in courts.
Andrey is a judge of ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law (IP legislation).
Speaks English.
