Graduated from Tashkent Polytechnic Institute as a mechanical engineer, also – from Central Institute of Intellectual Property (Moscow).
Started his career as a designer in the major design offices (Samara), afterwards worked as the Chief of Patent Information Department at R & D Institute of Non-ferrous Metallurgy Ministry.
From 1992 to 2002 worked as Chief of Examination Department, Chief of Methodology and Examination Quality Control Department and Vice-President of the Board of Appeals at the Uzbek Patent Office.
Joined «Gorodissky & Partners” (Samara) in 2003.
Mr. Churikov is engaged in patenting of inventions and utility models.
Wrote a book on IP protection in Uzbekistan.
Mr. Churikov has 33 inventors certificate. As a member of the Uzbek Republic delegation participated in the activity of the Standing Committees on the Law of Patents (SCP) and Trademarks (SCT) of WIPO (Geneva, Switzerland).
Participated in training course on appeals and litigation (Munich, Germany).
Speaks English and German.
Leisure – fishing.
