Nine years ago several law firms from BRICS countries launched an unprecedented project allowing international businesses to obtain information on IP in all the BRICS countries. Now, international cooperation is especially important, the BRICS countries have a great potential on their yet unsaturated markets; any products on the market are related to intellectual property, so it is important to be aware of the intellectual property landscape in each country.

The program of this Forum provides an insight on specific IP issues. It is important to note that the same issues are discussed with reference to the situation in each country enabling the participants of the Forum to compare the available options and direct their attention to those countries where the business may find better ways to develop with consideration also for the supply and demand situation.

The program prepared for the Forum is designed for the IP owners and lawyers who wish and are ready to do business in the respective BRICS countries. It is focused on the procedures for obtaining and enforcing IP rights and will be an invaluable tool for those who wish to do business in the BRICS countries.
