Presentation at the Russian Management School

Sergey Medvedev, PhD, LLM, Senior Lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), within the Gorodissky IP School project gave presentation on "Protection of copyright and neighboring rights in the Internet" in the evening seminar on intellectual and information law held by the Russian School of Management for lawyers and consultants whose professional activities related to IP practice. The speaker highlighted the main strategies for protecting copyright and neighboring rights on the Internet, the issues of responsibility of information intermediaries, "Russian anti-piracy law" enforcement practice. The presentation was supported by numerous examples from court practice, including the practice of the speaker. The lecture was attended by representatives from different spheres of business, in particular IT, FMCG and electric power industry.
