IP Seminar “The role of IP in doing business today in Russia”

Vladimir Biriulin, Partner, Patent Attorney, Vladimir Bashkirov, Patent Attorney, Anton Melnikov, LLM, Senior Lawyer, Viacheslav Rybchak, Trademark Attorney (all from Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), Nikolay Ptitsyn, Regional director (Gorodissky & Partners, Vladivostok) and Mikhail Nikiforov, UNIDO officer, were the speakers at the IP Seminar “The role of intellectual property in doing business today” held by the Gorodissky branch office together with the Center of international industrial cooperation UNIDO in the Russian Federation. Vladimir Biriulin spoke on “Intellectual property – import substitution”, Vladimir Bashkirov –“Information searches for new technologies”, Anton Melnikov – “Trademarks in advertising and unfair competition”, Viacheslav Rybchak –“Actual legal tools for business individualization” and Nikolay Ptitsyn - “Some recommendations for statuary compliance when importing goods comprising IP subject matters». The Seminar gathered over 20 attendees from the Vladivostok business and law companies.
