Nikolay Bogdanov, Partner, Patent Attorney, and Sergey Vassiliev, PhD, Senior Lawyer (both of Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), gave presentations «Recent trends in parallel import & Legal measures to fight distribution of counterfeit goods» and «Draft amendments to the Civil Code (Part IV) and Intellectual Property Court in Russia» at the Seminars held by JETRO with the support of the Japanese PTO for Japanese industrial companies and IP law firms. Peter Baklakov, Chief of Department, the Russian Federal Customs, also gave a presentation «Customs measures to fight counterfeit products including IP protection within the Customs Union».

Valery Medvedev, Managing Partner, Patent & Trademark Attorney, (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), spoke on «Wine brands protection in Russia» at the World Wine Trade Congress held by «Organizzazione Interprofessionale per la Comunicazione delle Conoscenze in Enologia» (O.I.C.C.E) in association with «Studio Torta» (Italy) and attended by more than 100 Italian wine experts and specialists.

Valery Medvedev also took part in the Executive Committee Meeting (FICPI EXCO) where it was confirmed a decision to hold FICPI EXCO 2016 in St. Petersburg.
