Evgenya Smolnikova, Lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), spoke at the Regional IP Seminar for the federal and regional Customs officers held by the Taganrog Customs of the Southern Customs Department and highlighted IP rights enforcement by the Russian Customs authorities. Russian Federal and regional Customs officers, as well as trademark owners discussed topics like IP rights enforcement for goods crossing border of the Customs Union, suppression of illegal IP assets turnover, criteria for counterfeit goods revealing.
