Valery Djermakian, Ph. D., Counsel (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) spoke at the Workshop «Use of doctrine of equivalents in Russia — theory and practice» held by St. Petersburg Collegium of patent attorneys and St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Main topics included the possibility of using Soviet Regulations on equivalent features, the date when equivalent features become known, limitations of using the equivalents doctrine. The Workshop was attended by members of the Collegium and of the St.-Petersburg Patent Counsel Association.
