Sergey Medvedev, PhD, LLM, Senior lawyer (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), spoke on «IP deals: legal and practical issues» at the XV Jubilee IP Forum, held by the company Infor-media Russia at the Hotel Mercure Moscow Paveletskaya. Sergey focused on the major amendments in the IP legislation regarding disposal of exclusive rights on different IP objects and the practice of making IP deals. In particular he spoke on the specific of preparing, registration, amending and termination of assignment, licensing, commercial concession, security and other kind of agreements. He highlighted the latest trends in the court practice on many aspects concerning IP deals. Sergey also gave interview to the Infor-media Russia on the discussed questions.
