Development of the Eurasian System of Trademarks and Appelation of Origin of Goods Protection

On November 9, the President signed the Federal Law “On Ratification of the Treaty on Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin of Goods of the Eurasian Economic Union”. The federal law was adopted by the State Duma on October 27, 2020 and approved by the Federation Council on November 3, 2020.

Federal Law ratifies the Treaty on Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin of Goods of the Eurasian Economic Union, signed in Moscow on February 3, 2020.

The Agreement governs relations arising in connection with the registration, legal protection and use of trademarks, service marks and appellations of origin of goods of the Eurasian Economic Union.
