Kirill Rogov spoke about compliance with the unity requirement for utility models.

Yaroslava Gorbunova delivered a presentation “Trademark Right Holder: Individual Entrepreneur or Natural Person? All Pros and Cons”, which was named the best presentation on Day 3 by participant vote.

Dmitry Yakovlev highlighted the challenges of identifying features of inventions and utility models for IT solutions.

Ellina Maletskaya presented “The Right to Be Forgotten and Authors’ Rights – Seeking a Compromise”.

Marsel Saydashev spoke about theoretical and practical aspects of incorporating license terms into a distribution agreement.

Presentations from the specialists at Gorodissky & Partners generated a lot of interest and discussion.

The conference was attended by over 200 participants, patent attorneys, corporate lawyers and patent specialists from industrial and scientific-research organizations, along with representatives from the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RSAIP) and the Saint-Petersburg office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
