Vladimir Biriulin, Partner, Head of Legal Practice and Denis Ashikhin, Patent attorney attended the conferenceпїЅ “China Intellectual Property & Innovation Summit 2015” in Shanghai. China and Russia have strengthen their economic relations over the last years. Both countries are engaged in many joint projects ranging from power engineering to building automotive plants. Vladimir spoke at one of the Panel sessions and his presentation was dedicated to doing business in Russia showing how business partners could organize business with reliance on IP provisions of the Russian law.

Vladimir Mescheryakov spoke on “Employees’ inventions when projecting technologies and products thereof”, Valery Narezhny spoke on “Topic tax issues of deals on disposal of IP subject matters”.

Valery Narezhny, PhD, Counsel (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) was an expert on April 9, 2015 at the online conference “Documenting deals with suppliers: tax due diligence” held by the Russian tax portal (taxpravo.ru). The conference highlighted one of the most acute issues in the current law enforcement and court practice – the issue of confirmation of the due care by the taxpayer while choosing a business partner. Valery Narezhny has been among the experts of the portal for over seven years. This is the biggest Russian language online resource on taxation in Russia and other countries.
