Anastasia Volkova, IP search expert, Gorodissky & Partners (Moscow) attended the EPO patent search seminar comprising presentations and workshops on topical issues of IP search such as use of the newest databases and search instruments. More than 200 attendees from all over the world participated in the seminar.

Ludmila Serova, Partner, Trademark Attorney, Gorodissky & Partners (Moscow), attended the 76th PTMG Conference “Creating, Building and Maintaining Brand Equity”. A number of topical issues, such as creating and launching a new pharmaceutical brand, maintaining value in established and famous brands, opportunities for using non-traditional trade marks in the pharmaceutical industry, etc. were in the focus of discussion.

Ivan Chuprunov, student of the Legal faculty of the Moscow Lomonosov State University, a competitor of the “Road to Vacation” contest of students papers held by the “Corporate Lawyer” magazine (Russia), Legal faculty of the Moscow Lomonosov State University and international law firm White and Case, was awarded the Gorodissky & Partners prize for the best paper in nomination “Intellectual Property”. The prize was presented by Nikolay Bogdanov, Partner of Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow.

Gorodissky & Partners were among the exhibitors of the VIII Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments held at the Russian Exhibition Center. Many exhibitors and visitors of the Salon attended the firm’s Information Center where attorneys and lawyers of Gorodissky & Partners counseled on IP legislation issues and enforcement practice thereof including particular cases.
The traditional firm’s contest “The Best Trademark of the Salon” gathered more than 60 participants this year. The winners were awarded with Diplomas and Certificates of Gorodissky & Partners.
Sergey Dudushkin, Senior Partner (Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow), took part in the Opening of the Salon, press-conference and in Awarding of the most perspective projects of the Salon. 

Luidmila Serova, Partner,Trademark Attorney, ”Gorodissky & Partners” (Moscow) held a Training seminar “Trade mark: application, registration, use” within the Educational program for corporate counsels organized by “DevelopMENT” company. The seminar was attended by more than 20 lawyers of  Moscow major companies. 

Valery Medvedev, Managing Partner, Gorodissky & Partners (Moscow), by invitation of  the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation gave three presentations at seminars “Intellectual Property System in Russia: patents, trademark applications and judicial action” in Tokyo (February 19, 2008) and Osaka (February 20, 2008).
 

Valery Medvedev, Managing partner, Dr. Valery Djermakian, Counsel and Dr. Natalia Radchenko, Trademark attorney (all of “Gorodissky & Partners”, Moscow) were nominated as the leading legal experts in intellectual property area in Russia by “European Legal Experts 2008”.

Gorodissky & Partners lawyers Dr.Evgeny Aleksandrov and Sergey Medvedev attended conference “The business aspects of intellectual property” held by Management Forum Ltd. In London. The issues of commercialization of intellectual property, including methods of IP valuation and due diligence were in the focus of discussion.
