Cyrillic domains in Ukraine

Priority registration of domain names in the Cyrillic domain. УКР started in the Ukraine on November 4, 2013. The following persons are eligible for priority registration:

• the owners of Ukrainian national and international trademarks (including well-known trademarks);
• the owners of rights for geographical indications registered in Ukraine.
  The next stage of priority registration will start on December 04, 2013. The following domains will be registered during that stage.
• The names of IP subject matters registered in Ukraine and which are mentioned in the documents proving the fact of the state registration including the names of literary works, films, songs, etc.;
• Full or short company names which are registered in Ukraine and included into the State Registry of legal entities of Ukraine.

The period of priority registration end on January 4, 2014 after which registration of the domain names in the domain extension. УКР will be open to all categories of applicants.

Only Cyrillic characters, numbers and other standard symbols are allowed for registration in the. УКР extension.

The delegation of the domain names in the. УКР domain extension is provided for a term from 1 to 10 years.

The official fee for a one year registration of the domain name in the domain extension. УКР is USD 25. The agent fee for the registration of one domain name for one year period is USD 100.
