In particular, the new wording of Paragraph 5 of Article 1233 of the Civil Code came into effect, which allows the rightholder to publish a declaration about the grant to any person of the right of free use of his own works or of neighboring rights subject matters on his terms and for a period specified by him. Such a declaration shall be published on the website of a federal executive agency designated by the Government of the Russian Federation. -

On January 23, 2015, changes in several laws came into effect, made by Federal Law № 532-ФЗ of December 31, 2014, aimed at combating turnover of adulterated, counterfeit, substandard and unregistered pharmaceuticals, medical appliances and counterfeit biologically active supplements.

On January 1, 2015, changes made by Federal Law № 221-ФЗ of July 21,2014 in Paragraph 1 of Article 330.30 of Part II of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, came into effect.

In accordance with these changes, official fees charged for state registration with Rospatent of computer programs, databases and topology of integrated microcircuits, were increased by approximately 70%.
The same Federal Law amended Subparagraph 72 of Paragraph 1 of Article 330.33, according to which official fees for issuance of a certificate of a patent attorney, for making changes in it, and issuance of a duplicate were also increased by 70%.
