IP Day in Siberia

Natalia Nikolaeva, Partner, Regional Director (Gorodissky & Partners, Novosibirsk), participated in IP Day celebration in Siberia, organized by the State Public Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Within the event was held a seminar for students and designers, where IP attorneys discussed peculiarities of legal protection of the designer`s intellectual activity results, and Natalia shared her litigation experience.

Natalia Nikolaeva also moderated a meeting of IP professionals with officials, where Alexander Prishchep, Deputy Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS of the Russian PTO), explained the accounting and valuation of intangible assets, Denis Monastyrsky, Head of the Research and Education Center of FIPS, and Alexander Shlapunov, Head of the Siberian FIPS Center, made reports on the development prospects of their branches and announced planned educational and outreach programs.
