Round table “Barriers of technology transfer”

Natalia Nikolaeva, Partner, Regional Director (Gorodissky & Partners, Novosibirsk) participated in a round table "Barriers of technology transfer" organized by the Novosibirsk Regional Fund for the Support of Science and Innovation.

The round table was attended by Alexander Prishchep, Deputy Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS of the Russian PTO), Alexander Shlapunov, Head of the Siberian FIPS Center, scientists of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the representatives of: technology transfer centers, the National Technology Transfer Association, venture fund and practicing patent attorneys and lawyers. The round table discussed issues related to patenting and commercialization of state scientific centers’ creations, and outlined a road map of collaboration in order to develop guidelines on the disposal of exclusive rights to IP objects.
