Round Table "Company Identity Protection Strategies: A Marketer's, Lawyer's and Patent Attorney's Perspective", Kazan

Gorodissky & Partners held a round table "Company Identity Protection Strategies: A Marketer's, Lawyer's and Patent Attorney's Perspective," which took place in Kazan.

The round table was dedicated to the issues of brand creation, development and protection, as well as the marketing aspects of selecting and forming a visual identity and legal risks arising at various stages of working with a brand.

Albert Ibragimov, Partner, Regional Director (Gorodissky & Partners, Kazan), Natalia Nikolaeva, Partner, Regional Director (Gorodissky & Partners, Novosibirsk), Daria Markovtseva, Russian Design Attorney, Eurasian Design Attorney and Inna Rybchak, Russian Trademark Attorney (both - Gorodissky & Partners, Moscow) discussed what factors must be considered when choosing a brand to ensure it is recognizable and effective for promotion while avoiding infringement of third-party rights and subsequent claims. Special attention was given to practical examples of successful and unsuccessful brands and typical mistakes made during corporate identity development, illustrated by cases from law practice.
